Michael Johnson Vs. Myles Jury Added to UFC 155

STUDIO MMA, RIVERSIDE, CA – Another bout has been added to UFC’s stacked end-of-the-year card. Michael Johnson and Myles Jury are set to square off in a lightweight contest at UFC 155: Dos Santos vs. Velasquez II, December 29 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

ESPN.com’s Brett Okamoto reported the news Tuesday via twitter.

Johnson [12-6-0 MMA, 4-2-0 UFC] recently scored a come-from-behind knockout victory over Danny Castillo earlier this month at UFC on FX 5. The win marked Johnson’s third straight inside the octagon, with prior unanimous decisions over Shane Roller and Tony Ferguson. Johnson will now make his fourth appearance of the year and looks to close out 2012 having gone 4-0.

Jury [10-0-0 MMA, 1-0-0 UFC] was a contested on ‘The Ultimate Fighter 13’ but was set home after the first episode due to a knee injury. He was then brought back as part of the 32-lightweights for TUF 15. However, Jury was eliminated in the preliminary round, dropping a split decision to Al Iaquinta.  Jury returned at the TUF 15 finale, earning a submission (Guillotine choke) over Chris Saunders.
