[BREAKING] Bones and Sonnen to Clash as TUF Coaches — Fight in April!

STUDIO MMA, VENICE, CA — The UFC has just gone public with the news that light heavyweight champ Jon “Bones” Jones and Chael Sonnen will be the coaches of the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter, which begins shooting on October 29 in Las Vegas.  As many know, the rivalry between the two fighters heated up when Dan Henderson was injured and Jones refused to accept Sonnen as a replacement, resulting in the cancellation of UFC 151.  At the time, Sonnen memorably challenged Jones via Twitter, saying, “30 min to cement your legacy. Champ or Coward? I make a lot more than you do… Show up in 8 days I’ll give you my purse.”  Sonnen then mercilessly criticized Jones after the event was scratched.

The TUF season promises to be a quote-worthy one as neither Sonnen nor Jones are shy about expressing their often controversial opinions.  The score will be settled in April when Jones defends his belt against Sonnen at a yet-to-be-scheduled event.
