Ross Pearson Vs. George Sotiropoulos set for UFC on FX 6 in Australia

STUDIO MMA, RIVERSIDE, CA – “The Ultimate Fighter: Australia vs. U.K.” coaches Ross Pearson and George Sotiropoulos will meet in a lightweight bout at UFC on FX 6 on December 15 in Australia (Due to the time difference, the event will air live on Dec. 14 in the U.S.).

Pearson [13-6-0 MMA, 5-3-0 UFC], returns to lightweight, following a second round knockout loss to Cub Swanson at UFC on FX 4.  Previously, Pearson made his featherweight debut at UFC 141, picking up a hard fought unanimous decision over Junior Assuncao.

Meanwhile, Sotiropoulos [14-4-0 MMA, 7-2-0 UFC] hasn’t fought in over a year.  After winning his first seven UFC fights, Sotiropoulos was clawing at a title shot.  However, back-to-back losses to Dennis Siver and Rafael dos Anjos puts him in a must win situation.
