Pre Fight UFC 151: Jon Jones on Henderson: “A Little Bit of a One-Trick Pony”

STUDIO MMA, LOS ANGELES – UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, Jon Jones defends his title at UFC 151 against the veteran Dan Henderson. The event takes place on September 1, at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Jones said in the interview with UFC:

“I just fought so many monsters. Shogun (Mauricio Rua), Rampage Jackson, Lyoto Machida, Rashad Evans.
Dan Henderson is just another tough guy. He’s not this big, mythical character for me.
He has that power, that uppercut, that overhand, When he touches people, they go down.
My objective is to not get hit at all,see how I handle one of those famous H-Bombs.
If Dan Henderson thinks he’s gonna be able to take my belt, he’s got another thing coming.
I feel very confident that I will be the first guy to TKO him. To slowly and methodically beat him, hit hime until he realizes that his body is hurting and he wants the fight to be over.”
