Phil Davis vs. Chad Griggs Added to the UFC on FOX 4 Card

STUDIO MMA, LOS ANGELES – StudioMMA.com announced last week that MMA fans can win 2 Free tickets to UFC on FOX 4 plus hotel stay in Los Angeles for the event on August 4th. The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) announced today that Phil Davis and Chad Griggs have been added to that card.

The former Strikeforce heavyweight fighter, Chad Griggs entered the UFC with a 11-1 record and faced the much heavier Travis Browne at UFC 145: Jones vs.Evans. Griggs received a devastating flying knee early in round one. Browne then mounted Griggs and submitted him via arm triangle.

Chad has now agreed to step down a weight class to UFC’s light heavyweight division (205lb) and face Phil “Mr Wonderful” Davis.
Davis is also coming off a loss, in fact, his first loss of his career. He met Rashad Evans at UFC on Fox 2: Evans vs. Davis in late January of this year, and lost the bout via an unanimous decision. This was his sixth fight in the UFC, and his 10th MMA bout overall. But the question remains how will Davis respond after his first loss? We will find out on August 4th at UFC on Fox 4.
